    What types of events do you manage?
    Corporate functions, conferences, gala dinners, brand activations, festivals and community events, government events, private celebrations and selected weddings. We manage everything from intimate VIP experiences to multi-day, large-scale public events across Perth and Western Australia.

    Do you offer end-to-end event management?
    Yes. We handle concept and creative, budgeting, supplier procurement, venue liaison, scheduling, production, staffing, run sheets, risk and safety documentation, permits and on-the-day delivery. You can engage us for the full project or specific stages.

    How involved will I be in the planning?
    As much or as little as you like. Some clients work with us weekly, others prefer us to run with it. Either way, you’ll get clear timelines, approvals, and one point of contact.

    Can you help with styling and design?
    Yes. Our in-house stylists and creatives develop moodboards, layouts and visual direction to align with your brand or brief, including furniture selection, florals, signage and theming.

    Do you provide on-the-day coordination and stage management?
    Absolutely. We manage bump-in/out, vendors, run sheets, MC and stage cues, and any last-minute changes so the event runs smoothly.

    What makes The Event Mill different?

    Yes. We arrange council approvals, traffic and crowd plans, noise management, power and site services, transport, deliveries and staffing. Our team knows the local processes and timelines in WA.

    What is your approach to safety and compliance?
    We run a robust WHS process with risk assessments, SWMS, site inductions, emergency and crowd management plans, plus vendor insurances and compliance checks. We carry appropriate public liability insurance for events.

    Do you work with specific venues in Perth?
    Yes. We have strong relationships with venues across Perth and regional WA, and we’re happy to recommend spaces based on your event goals if you need some guidance. If you already have a venue, we’ll liaise directly with their team.

    Where do you operate?
    Perth metro and across Western Australia. We regularly deliver regional and remote events — from Albany and Margaret River to Kalgoorlie, Broome and Kununurra — and manage transport, accommodation, freight and local approvals to keep delivery seamless.

    How far in advance should I book?
    Earlier is better, especially for peak seasons in Perth and WA. As a guide, allow 8 to 12 weeks for corporate events and 3 to 6 months for large public or festival projects (longer if permits are required). We can deliver on shorter lead times, subject to scope and availability.

    Can you work to a set budget?
    Yes. We provide transparent, itemised quotes and value-engineer smartly, prioritising impact where it matters without compromising safety or guest experience.

    Do I need a fully formed brief?
    No. Bring us your goals, audience and date. We’ll shape concepts and options, then refine with you.

    I only need production or hire.  Can you help?
    Yes. Engage us for management-only, production-only or hire-only. We offer premium furniture and styling in-house, and via Reeces Hire we can supply structures such as marquees and stretch tents.

    Do you manage weddings as well as corporate events?
    Yes. We take on a select number of weddings each year and apply the same detailed planning and creative approach used in our corporate and government work.
